Every time we go to the movies, there is always popcorn as a "light bulb" to ease our tension when watching visual blockbusters and relieve the sadness when watching tear-jerking blockbusters.
However, recently I found that popcorn has not only changed in taste, even the packaging has begun to fight design, some girly, some high quality, but also each flavor has a different mood.
DIZ DIZ Popcorn
Packaging design by Spanish studio TATABI Studio. The marbled box looks very high-end and classy.
The four flavours - cheese, curry, cinnamon and vanilla - are packaged in different metallic colours that correspond to the colour of the pouch when the kernels are heated.
Interestingly, the marbled box also doubles up as a popcorn container when folded, making it stylish and practical.
However, for popcorn lovers, this is the kind of popcorn you might not even want to eat when you get it home.
Garrett
Unlike the DIZ DIZ Popcorn, the packaging design of Garrett's popcorn is kept festive and unique. The multi-sided tapered packaging can be placed on tables and shelves for corporate, wedding and other event occasions.
What I find most interesting is that it looks like a bouquet of flowers before opening the packaging.
HolyCorn!
Packaging design for HolyCorn! by Openmint Studio, a set of cute 'baby popcorn' packaging designs.
Pantone's standard colours, with a cute image to emphasise the gluten-free, non-GMO, coconut oil cooking, each flavour has a different mood.
This Corn
A fun box with popcorn with different expressions.
The biggest reason I noticed this set of packaging design is the illustration, the story. The popcorn is linked to the tomato and cherry ...... illustrations and story narrative, different colours, different scenes, different stories, very attractive.
Popcorn
Popcorn popcorn is packaged by Greek designer Anna Trympali, with creative box shapes and closures.
Popcorn's packaging design features funny and quirky illustrations, with different backgrounds and motifs depending on the flavour.
Circus Pop
Circus Pop is a popcorn sold in special circuses and this popcorn is packaged with different scenes from the circus painted on the packaging!
The different colours represent different flavours and the hand-painted design not only adds to the fun of the popcorn but also conveys the sweet ambience of the circus environment.
People always aspire to have nice things, and if they had to choose between plain popcorn and creatively packaged popcorn, I believe more people would choose the latter.
